Eastend-born but Brighton-based photographer Mark Vessey, twenty-seven, is an artist intent on capturing intimate experience in a series of images which fuse colour and focus in such a way as to make the familiar - the spine of a magazine, a street in Soho - eerily new.

He has exhibited in various galleries in London and in Brighton and his signature photograph 'Attitude' (an enormous shot of the entire run of the eponymous magazine) was shown at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Mark Vessey's photography - with its highly personal dimensions - has been equally praised and collected and he is fast developing an international reputation.
